Born in Argentina and raised in Patagonia, chef Gustavo Rinkevich has been passionate about cooking since he was a child.
At the age of 17, he moved to Buenos Aires where he studied hotel and gastronomic management at the CENCAP institute and began working in renowned restaurants in the Buenos Aires capital.
For 10 years, we spent and cooked in Spain, France and Italy, learning cutting-edge techniques and getting to know Mediterranean and inland products, as well as working in different haute cuisine restaurants in Ibiza. He came to live in Brazil to fulfill his dream of “owning a restaurant facing the sea”. It was like this that in 2009 in the charming city of Búzios, Rocka Restaurante and Beach Lounge opened, presenting modern Mediterranean cuisine with Brazilian products, which it still commands today.
Today, Rocka is among the 50 best restaurants in Brazil with almost 14 years of history on the Búzios peninsula. In addition to classic and seasonal dishes, you can enjoy artisanal charcuterie with seasonal recipes from your family.


Gustavo started to study at Institute CENCAP, located in Buenos Aires, the course of Administration of Hotel and Gastronomic Companies.


After finishing university, Gustavo traveled to Europe to experience and learn about gastronomic culture for the next 8 years.
